Foundation has instituted distinguished lecture series. First lecture was delivered on February 26, 2014 by Dr. Ashok Gulati, a well renowned agricultural economist. Dr. Gulati served as a senior staff member of the International Food Policy Research Institute in Washington D.C. for ten years, and later as a Chairman of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) for the Government of India. Title of his lecture was, “Accelerating Agricultural Growth-Role of Policy and Technology”.
Dr. R.S. Paroda, Chairman, Trust for Advancement of Agricultural Sciences, and former Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi delivered the second Distinguished Lecture on February 20, 2015 on the topic, â€œChallenges before Indian Agriculture â€“ The Way Forward.â€ In his lecture, Dr. Paroda said, â€œGreen Revolution led to unprecedented growth and raised our head high before rest of the world.â€
